I think it needs to be pointed out here that there is some very lame
stuff on Hearts Of Space label, and it's a label that goes back quite a
ways into the time of new age music, where the label unabashedly
advanced itself. The stuff that SHOULD be of interest to this discussion
is HOS sub-imprint "FATHOM". I'm sure this was an oversight on the parts
of the previous posters, and if you see the Fathom imprint on the back
of an HOS CD you can be fairly sure it's going to have some
good-to-great stuff on it, like 9/10 of the stuff the previous writer
listed. There are good HOS releases other than Fathom stuff, like
Michael Stearns "ambient" collection, but in general I'd stick with the
far more experimental Fathom stuff (which is where they actually
commissioned Mr. Lustmord, no doubt at the behest of trusted artist
Robert Rich). My two cents.
