and what are you getting at?

I don't think anyone on this list who speaks of influence is *denying* the
roots of all music, if not humanity itself. Did I miss a point in this
thread where someone implied that Africa is *not* the root?

So often on this list we'll go over the true roots of the music we speak
of.  Of course we can trace it back to Africa. Yeah, OK, nuff respect...but
so what?

But 'cha know....before the drum circles in Africa, there were those groovy
pre human amoeba jam sessions back in the protoplasm pools, y'know WAY
before any humans were doing it.
