Using multiple controls simultaneously isn't an outlier. On one fully analog=
Roland SH synth, I often, have one hand on Cutoff, Resonance, and CV polari=
ty at the same time. The panel layout seems to have been designed for this. O=
n the digital Alesis Ion, this requirement is addressed by 3 Wheels, and pro=
gramable expression pedal destination.

The inability to process multiple controls simultaneously could be the resul=
t of not understanding high-runner use cases, let alone all possible. The cl=
ock cycle could be too low to service that many A/Ds without degraded perfor=
mance. If the pots are multiplexed, they may not be addressed fast enough. T=
hese issues could easily have been dealt with if understood.

Cheers,

John
