For folks in the San Antonio/Austin area (or who would like to be for the weekend), we are doing our Synthomania event on Saturday from 1:00 until 5:00. This year, it is at Syntaur HQ, and in addition to having an open house, we will have in the back yard a synth swap meet, live performances, and rare synths on exhibit (Rhodes Chroma, and Chroma Expander, Arp Quadra, Prophet 5's rev 1, 2 and 3, Aelita, etc). The showroom will be stuffed with cool synths to play, like a Yamaha CS-80, Memorymoog Plus, Kobol Expander, ElkaTwin, and Soviet Tom 1501, as well as our Juno-107 and hot-rodded Arp Odyssey with sub-oscillators. As always, we'll have a mess of swag to give away, as well as the main door prize from our generous sponsor, Korg: a traveling case filled with four Volcas.
