Even though autechre is an all time favorite, I've never found a remix they were responsible for that I liked. I bought "Remit Recaps" and "Maximum Priest" and downloaded many remixes from BleepBloop- excited as can be, only to be faced with a let down. Maybe I'm priming myself too much but it seems to me that Booth/Brown never put a lot of effort into a remix; it's often just a very generic and meandering beat. This does not upset me- I'm still in search of an autechre remix that strikes a balance between their "special touch" and the spirit of the source material. Any suggestions? The new 12" is a remix project, right? This will be pretty random if it isn't. John __________________________________________________ Do You Yahoo!? Bid and sell for free at http://auctions.yahoo.com
