It has attained that classic level with me and when I listen to it, as I'm driving, it's extremely nostalgic and the more I listen to autechre the more I relize what empathetic and sincere musicians Rob Brown and Sean Booth are. They set out to release something that was intrenched deep in the soul, and whatever to the fact that so many people could really give a shit,.. it has touched me. Their music truly comes from the heart and a greatly vivid imagination. Some people just can't see past the "cheesy" 606 and the crappy sampler.. you know whatever.. I believe any good musician can be effectively creative with virtually any form of medium. Just listen to the sound they churned out of those instruments!! How can you listen to it and say "oh this is shit".. I just don't get it.. yeah, sure everybody has their owns tastes.. guess I just have to live with that. but If you are bias against anything that doesn't have 48k sampling and hard window-shattering bass beats to enjoy music, well I really think you're missing out on alot of good shit.
