Plus alot of stuff that isn't within the strict borders of Detroit is considered Detroit techno at least in sound and feel...maybe not the city block. Plus, there was a time in the not too far recent past that richie was one of the few people throwing parties worth going to . . . when everyone else was in bed with europe, he was throwing parties for us poor locals which completely shaped the current acceptability of the genre in its own backyard. 337is
