This four track ep is touted at a nice foray in to hardcore drum n bass. Upcoming projects for Kultbox include releases from david skiba (aka=20 bomb20), lesser, kid606, and a 7" series of manipulated=20 shortwave radio recordings. So some interesting experimental things coming out of chi-town soon. ------------------------------------------ Disko B's new subdivision THE SEPERATOR SERIES has=20 been unleashed early this year with CUBE & SPHERE's=20 Amundsen 12''. Showing Disko B-Boss' UPSTART and=20 HANS PLATZGUMER's (Aura Anthropica, Fingerfood, Die=20 Goldenen Zitronen, Der Seperator) love for abstract and=20 innovative electronica, THE SEPERATOR SERIES-releases=20 will expand the musical terrain for which Disko B is known for:=20 experimental, cutting-edge-music on the verge of Breakbeat and=20 Ambient, Pop and Soundtrack. The unique sleeves, videoclips=20 and video installations of the SEPERATOR SERIES, designed=20 by Munich-based artist GEORG GAIGL, clearly show the dark=20 and mysterious atmospheres of its outputs. While the first EPs=20 are focusing on modern digital technologies, THE SEPERATOR=20 SERIES will not hesitate to also release analog music later this=20 year (like an unbelievable live track merely done with sticks on a=20 bowl by Berlin's free jazz-legend Peter Hollinger).
