This sounds similar to the little bootleg kit you can buy for the Playstation. It comes with a spring that foils the disk-change sensor when you open the tray, so after putting a standard Playstation CD in and letting the unit read the code, you can pop the tray open, insert a CD-R copy of any Playstation game and play to your heart's content. I've seen it in action at a friend's house (no sniggering, it's the truth!) and it worked quite well. Even gives you unlimited lives, etc. IDM Content: I guess this betrays my background as an indie-kid, but the Notwist have put out two very interesting albums I haven't seen mentioned or discussed on the list. Yes they're German, and they know how to make click-tracks worthy of Oval, but I'd wager there's quite a few Dinosaur Jr. records in their collection as well.
