I know, I know, but some of you out there are artist types, and sometimes I get a bug up my butt at work and decide I want to know everything there is to know about something. My question today is - the Snorri Brothers. Who the hell are they? Where can I find out more? Here's what I know: from Iceland photographers, have done things involving Green Day, Soul Coughing, Pi (the movie - SnorriCam?), and a few pictures for an article in Spin on professional bowling video wise, they did videos for Monaco and REM Websearches through a few of the bigger search engines didn't turn up much more than that. I notice that a lot of photographers seem to be imitating a certain style of theirs (overlit shots where the lights in front are very bright and in the back kinda shadowy). Maybe they didn't even do it first, but I look at something, and I think "That looks a lot like the Snorri Brothers." Anyone? Bueller? Mavis Beacon?
