I got a copy, and it's incredible. Keeping with the minimalist theme, the visuals consist of just two elements: black O's and maroon dots. They appear on the screen and proceed to change pattern, size, and number. It's amazing how much depth and various other effects can result from those two elements. The other song on the disc is by some drum and bass artist (forgot the name), and consists of a kung-fu flick synced up to the rhythm. pretty cool as well. Hopefully more artists will get involved in this medium (and DVD drives will get cheaper). darren Tosh Cooey wrote: > > From: Brian Behlendorf <xxxxx@xxxxxxxxx.xxx> > > Subject: (idm) plastikman DVD? > > > > Anyone have, or know where one might obtain, the DVD that Hawtin > > produced for the Winter Music Conference? > > See: http://www.m-nus.com/ > > Plastikman in 5.1 is just too much to imagine! > > > > The DVD is not a release.
