Ladies and gents,

Hopefully, the music we do with Pin Park is not the most regular (and
definitely listenable) EMS Synthi work. If so, those of you who either
live or happen to be in the UK in the coming days might want to join us
for one of the dates as we are launching a small tour (with one date in
Holland, too). Each show will be accompanied be beautiful visuals (live
animation) provided by KinoMANUAL. We hope to see you there!

kinoMANUAL / Pin Park LIVE

Based in Wroclaw, kinoMANUAL explore mainly analogue stop-motion
techniques, such as hand-drawn, cut-out and non camera animation. Pin
Park creates electronic music using only the unusual architecture and
unrepeatable timbres of EMS synthesizers /2 x Synthi AKS/. Built in
1971, these were one of the first commercially available synthesizers
used and praised by musicians ever since, from Brian Eno to Alessandro
Cortini, and many others.

Their live session is a wondrous exploration of colour, form,
composition, and texture, spanning from the tiniest details in nature
through cosmic mindscapes. In turn, Pin Park's minimalist and
experimental compositions help submerge the viewer in this feast for the
senses, where time seems to take a respite.

kinoMANUAL

kinoMANUAL is a small, independent audio-visual production house focused
on experimenting with the moving image and sound. We mainly explore
analogue animation techniques such as hand-drawn, cut-out or direct
cinema. We enjoy manual contact with film and production process itself.
kinoMANUAL creates films and objects that correspond with a rich
tradition of moving images, kinetic art and experimental cinema. Check

Pin Park

Pin Park are Polish duo consisting of Maciek Baczyk and Maciek Polak.
Through their improvised music they aim to achieve optimal sound and
structure, using only the unusual architecture and unrepeatable timbres
of EMS synthesizers (2 X Synthi AKS). Built in 1971, these were one of
the first commercially available synthesizers used and praised by
musicians ever since, from Pink Floyd, Brian Eno and Jean Michel Jarre
to Aphex Twin and Alessandro Cortini. Taking inspiration from IDM,
Krautrock and Ambient music, Pin Park's approach is best described as
minimalist and experimental. All compositions are created without the
use of computers. Pin Park’s debut album Krautpark came out in 2017 via
polish label: Instant Classic. During the concerts Pin Park transform
into a trio. The third person in a band is Aga Jarząb - from kinoMANUAL,
who works with Pin Park to create visuals for their live shows.
