> Heard the new Stereolab in my local store today. > Sounded really good, didn't have enough money to buy it though, can anybody > tell me how many copies were pressed as "limited" double-CDs? The limited aspect is not the fact that it's a double cd. It's the crappy card packaging (which doesn't hold the cd's in at all well) that's limited. > I'm not a big fan of their other material (to be honest I haven't heard > much but the Ketchup album), but this I liked. Shouldn't say too much since a large amount of the stuff on this release is from before 'Emporer Tomato Ketchup'. If you like Aluminum Tunes I would expect that you'd enjoy other 'Lab stuff. > I only browsed it once. > Noone can say anything else but that Warp is playing it pretty safe these > days though. No rabbit-in-a-hat-tricks anymore, no. I know this was brought up before but what the hell does Warp have to do with this release? "At last a Stereolab release on Warp! Duophonic are of course handling the release in the UK and Elektra in Japan and USA." (from warp-net.com) Does this mean that Warp are releasing it everywhere except Japan, UK, & USA? I wouldn't call that a Warp release. > Oh, and it's not got any DR design either. > Looks pretty fantastic if I may say so. It wouldn't be a DR design since it's a Duophonic release and they never have DR designs. Nick
