Just to blow the Sonic Soul trumpet a little..

Our CloudWatch events actually feature a wide-range of 'leftfield' sounds,
hence the line "a freeform gathering." As somebody noted, this past weekend
we hosted CloudWatch as part of Ultraworld's massive Starscape '99
festival. Playing all-night, under the stars, on a pier 200ft out into the
Chesapeake Bay was quite an experience. Our featured guests were DJ
E.A.S.E. of Nightmares on Wax, and Byzar and Badawi from Asphodel. Hardly
ambient.=20

In the past year CloudWatch has played host to Phoenecia, Jeswa, Takeshi,
Metic, Tom Middleton of Global Communication, Pete Lawrence of The Big
Chill, and Tim 'Love' Lee amongst others, and we've also hosted other
one-off events featuring Mixmaster Morris, Spacetime Continuum, Amon Tobin,
Luke Vibert, Tricky, Andrea Parker, Fantastic Plastic Machine, and Andy
Smith of Portishead.=20

(for a complete list see: http://sonicsoul.com/theguests.htm)

Incidentally, the next volume of our CloudWatch CD compilation - A
Soundtrack to a Freeform Gathering V2 should be available in July/August
and features many exclusive tracks from artists who have performed at past
CloudWatch events. This time around its Takeshi Muto, Thievery Corporation,
DJ Olive, Q-Burns Abstract Message, DJ Wally, and Electro Organic Sound
System amongst others.

We're also working on adding live sets by Nobukazu Takemura and Spacetime
Continuum to the July 22nd Funkst=F6rung show. Hope thats idm enough for=
 you. :)
