_Music is Rotted One Note_ - scary stuff. Not listened to it enough to
decide whether I can add it my 'changed my life' list but the amount of
effort thats gone into this LP is truly stunning. Lots of live drums,
bass, Rhodes etc. Some of it is all over the place structurally where as
some is a bit more groovy - the drum work and sounds are obviously Tom
though, esp. where he drops some reverb onto occasional snares. Very
dark and ominous at times but highlight (for me) is _My Sound_ this
beautiful slow track that uses these cute chords and emotional guitar
work over the top.

The Stereolab LP on Warp (2xCD!) sounded pretty fresh from the listen I
had to the first disc. Hardcore lab fans might have some of the tracks
already but there's tonnes here. Musically no big departure - so lots of
those Hammond sounds and whispery singing vocals. Thumbs up.
