noton for the most part is a sublabel of rastermusic. The releases are very experimental in nature. They challenge the listener and make them question what constitutes music. The items I have heard are very mininimal and almost non existant. I think it is quite good but it is a definite listen before you buy kind of thing. also see www.rastermusic.com -daniel On Mon, 18 Jan 1999, Alex Reynolds wrote: > after looking through www.rastermusic.com about the 20"-2000 series, I'm > definitely intrigued.. especially with the upcoming saehkoe and scanner > contributions.. > > but i have no idea what the komet/noto/noton ton is like.. any reviews, > samples or impressions, anyone? > > -alex > > __________________________________________________________________________ > Alex Reynolds Distributed Support Specialist > Department of Biology School of Arts & Sciences Computing > University of Pennsylvania Philadelphia, PA > email:xxxxxxxx@xxx.xxxxx.xxx phone:215.573.2818 > Interviewer--what do the words mean?
