i was thumbing through my copy of Joinville & Villehardoun's Chronicle of the Crusades as i often do, and i noticed one of the character's names was Gautierd d'Autreche.. same letter slightly different order.. maybe.. yes i have too much free time. > and he was saying something about the word autechre being of > greek origin.
