"New Zealand music. It's traditionally neither electronic nor relaxing, yet suddenly it seems like kiwis are pumping out 'ambient', or 'downbeat' electronica like it's their specialty and its bloody marvellous!" http://entertainment.nzoom.com/music/story.html?story_electronica.inc This is the mainstream press of NZ, as far as that goes... I know _I_ didn't pay him anything. ;-) I had a quick listen to the Rotor+ album mentioned on the second page and was pretty damn intrigued. I'll have to give it a more serious listen. And I'd once again like to plug Denver McCarthy's stuff, including his album as Micronism. Check out www.statra.com for snippets of his latest and/or www.igloomag.com for my review of it.
