We would like to take this opportunity to update everyone about Module.
We are very pleased with the response that we have received.
Unfortunately, there is a change in the lineup, namely, as of Friday,
February 13, Photek has cancelled. However, in his place we are very
happy to present Le Petit Orb, which is a slightly smaller version of
the full live Orb show. We had contracted and fully booked Photek
through his agent in England, as is customary when dealing with someone
of his stature. Unfortunately Photek and his agent are in dispute and
we have been caught in the middle of this. We do have a signed
contract, which Photek has decided not to honour for personal reasons.
We apologize for this cancellation, however, it is beyond our control.
We did everything we could to convince him to still come to Toronto but
he was unwilling to do so.

Le Petit Orb consists of Dr. Alex Patterson and Andy Hughes of The Orb
in a live and DJ set. The Orb has produced some of our favorite music
and their live show is legendary. We feel that this is a replacement of
equal stature, and while we are disappointed that Photek has cancelled,
we are very happy that this version of The Orb will be performing for
us.

The rest of the lineup is confirmed. Mixmaster Morris of Ninja Tune is
already in North America on his mini-tour, and will play the newest
sounds in drum and bass. Vapourspace, with his new album Sweep on ffrr
will perform a set of live techno. Yakudo, an eight piece, Toronto
based traditional Japanese Taiko drumming ensemble will be performing.
The music is powerful and aggressive, which is reflected in the name
Yakudo, which translates to "full of life and energy". Spencer Kinsey
from Cajual/Relief Records in Chicago is our headlining DJ in our house
room.

The venue is the Warehouse at 1 Jarvis St. Expect to not recognize the
space as we have some very interesting decorating ideas. Tickets are
available at all locations with the exception of Sound on Sound in
Hamilton, which has closed. We do suggest buying tickets early as we
expect that the addition of Le Petit Orb to be very popular. See you at
Module.
