It's an excellent psychedelic pop record in the same vein as > White Noise or Amon Duul type stuff. This is available on CD, if you're interested in a non-vinyl copy...originally on Columbia Special Products (possibly out of print) but if not US-domestic, then the UK Edsel label will have copies through CD Connection/Now/Blvd/etc. Very recommended, that is if you get into weirdo psychedelic along the lines of Soft Machine, Pink Floyd; it's even kinda folky (ala Fairport Convention) on a couple of tracks. The Sgt. Pepper-type concept is a bit silly, but overall it's much fun... Head USA guy Joseph Byrd later went into contemporary/electronics/composition, while some other groupmembers ended up in Country Joe & the Fish (!). .John.
