He's done other stuff for Freerange, "Perennial Pleasures" and "Audiomontage" are 2 12"s I know off the top of my dome. Heard both ages ago and can't recall, but I know Mixmaster Morris charted both at some point (the reason I initially looked for them). If he says it's good, you prolly can't go wrong. > Could anyone out there please fill me in as to any recent releases (as in 98 > or 99) by Tom Middleton and Mark Pritchard either together or separately? Read a blurb in the new Urb (i think) about Evolution, apparently the label's not doing so skippy and they're cutting back on the new release schedule. S'posedly a US major is looking at signing the Jedi Knights as well, or whatever they call themselves now. So good and bad news there. And my question to you all - Ian Simmonds - Man With No Name 12", Last States of Nature LP. Heard them yet? Apparently he's the shiznat with Kruder and Dorfmeister, Giles Peterson, and the NME. Something about astral jazz melded with shimmering gentle breakbeats, comparisons drawn to Carl Craig. Had my mouth watering, just curious if anyone can vouch... ____________________________________ Brock Phillips - xxxxx@xxxxx.xxx.xxx WXYC 89.3 FM The New Science Experience Tune in every Sunday night 10-12 AM EST http://www.wxyc.org for live RA broadcast Promos, demos, etc. welcome for submission Email for postal address and details...
