"Urban Music"? What the hell is that? This ranks with "New Music" as one of the most meaningless terms yet conceived to categorize (read: market) music. How about "Adult Contemporary"? I was hoping to hear pornographic moaning over lame r&b music, and instead I heard...well... pornographic moaning over lame r&b music. Alright, bad example. But "Urban"? First of all, one cannot say this word without making an extremely silly face. Try it. Get to a mirror right now, say it slowly. Now you know better than to use this term to impress a hot date. If I recall, most classical music was produced in urban settings. As was most jazz. So how exactly is "Urban" a definable set? Mathematically, and perhaps even apologetically, Zenon M.
