Well, there's Tangerine Dream and there's Tangerine Dream. As far as
I'm concerned, pretty much any TD album featuring Christopher Franke
is decent stuff. They went downhill fast once he left (about 1986) and
have since turned into dull prog-rockers.

All the TD stuff from around 1969-1980 is excellent. Especially
Rubycon and Phaedra (early 70s). It's these two albums that remind me
of Node. If you like the Node CD and haven't checked out this early TD
stuff, on account of their recent output being utter shite, then snap
up Rubycon and Phaedra immediately.
