Well, there's Tangerine Dream and there's Tangerine Dream. As far as I'm concerned, pretty much any TD album featuring Christopher Franke is decent stuff. They went downhill fast once he left (about 1986) and have since turned into dull prog-rockers. All the TD stuff from around 1969-1980 is excellent. Especially Rubycon and Phaedra (early 70s). It's these two albums that remind me of Node.
