>Mark S-Walker could probably testify to this with his failed auctioning >of the ultimate rarity.. only 2 in existance, so the claims goes. first time round this went for alot of money, but the bidder pulled out for various reasons. second time round, i got offered more money for it which was great. i sincerely believe it went for what it was worth. what goes around, comes around. on 2 occasions i've have pulled out of auctions without giving the seller's notice & making lame excuses, so with it happening to me i didn't really mind :) this was also with me being really busy @ work etc. i've been trading [lance and i have traded 3 years now, or is it 2? - i forget!] / buying & selling on the net for over 3 years. i have made offers on records and not got back etc, but if this happens to you the best thing is just to make a decision and sell it someone else. use your heads. if the money turns up @ a later date, simply return it! what i really hate are the people that email me seeing if i've kept the record in a plastic protective sleeve since the day i bought it etc etc. then they oull out of the sale! i've once been ripped off for 15 uk pounds. i got sent a record, it wasn't what they said it was, so i returned it & never got my money back. another time, i bought a record which was supposed to be mint in all aspects. the bpm was written in black felt-tip pen on the label. nothing major, but still! it's a good feeling selling records that people are really after, just as its a great feeling to find that elusive 12. prices are more expensive but thats a simple case of the net market being far more extensive. fact is - if its too expensive you won't sell it! this too has happened to me, so just lower them again. happy trading etc__ peace mark
