why is this so hard to believe? they are essentially demo tapes. probably
half the tapes are still lying on the floor in the offices of random record
labels (probably even warp!) or worse in their garbage cans and the rest
were probably given out to friends who either forgot about them or just
didn't care in the first place... you don't think RDJ or autechre put
together demo tapes? just when BoC decide to list them on their website
then rabid trainspotters start flipping out.

no. i think it's a fair assumption that most of these records weren't sold
in stores and those that were never left scotland. acid memories is ten
years old and probably limited to like a dozen hand made copies.

btw, what ever happend to the dude that was auctioning q-chastic here? who
won?

don't lie to yourself. most people on the list get their rare records from
the internet or a few select stores. i doubt too many people would have
the masks if it weren't for the work of xx@x://kimo and xxx@xxx world (now
diskono)..

i used to have a lego feet. it exists.

yeah, i'm sure that he made up the track times and catalog numbers just to
get some internet suckers to buy more current music. explain to me again
what the BOC site owner would have to gain from doing this? this is the
same guy who personally dug up copies of 'twoism' to sell to list members.
maybe BOC are giving him a cut of these huge profits they're pulling in ;-)

maybe 10 years from now IDM-ers'll be like 'that damn skamography, i can't
belive they're making up this mask series.. who would belive that bullshit?
they just want me to buy the new Ska-42 12"'. i sure hope so ;-)
