Having been originally entranced by the "fish" track on ninja tune's funkungfusion compilation, i went ahead and bought mr. scruff's "fish chipmunk" ep, which I have found highly rewarding (even though it only has two more tracks in addition to "fish"). These trax are highly likable crisp jazzy grooves...possibly appealing to the camp that wants something similar to k & d. Anyway, these just whet my appetite for the full-length self-titled mr. scruff cd (import-only in the states), which I ordered from cdnow.........about three months ago, and I still haven't gotten it (they're still looking, according to their monthly e-mail update). Does anyone have the full-length mr. scruff cd, so that you can tell me what i've been missing?
