Picked up a DVD called "Hommage ( Noir" which was directed by Ralf Schmerberg. It was shot on location in Cameroon and is all in black and white. If you're a fan of "Koyanisquatsi"-type stuff, you might like this. The music was composed by Ralf Hildenbeutal who has recorded for Eye-Q and Recycle or Die. The soundtrack is pretty laid back with snippets of field recordings interspersed with "Last Temptation of Christ"-like builds and drones . . . only once or twice does the whole thing really take off and become much more than a murmur. Overall, its pleasant and suits the subject matter very nicely, in other words, a really nice score. The credits say that the music is available on an Eye-Q CD but I'm not sure it would hold up to well without the visuals. The movie is 47:30 and I paid $19.95 (US) at Borders Ann Arbor. 337is I think things are really becoming a lot clearer to me. I really don't understand anything.-Lisa Rollins (3-1-99 10:25 EST) http://www.glimmering.com/lr2/
