but they're not going to be any less scared when
the subject is trivialized by some goofy rapper. 

'Cheers' didn't make it any easier to say 'oh yeah
my mom's an alcoholic,' did it?  
if anything, this kind of pop-culture co-opting of 
serious, painful topics makes it more difficult 
to say these things because people shrug them off
as 'the way things are.'

Eminem isn't trying to enlighten anybody.
