Just to chime in here (uninvited)... as far as I understand, the Hohner String Performer is the last of the stringers to be produced from their advent until their falling from fashion in the early 80s. (present releases acknowledged) This instrument was produced inhouse by Hohner in contrast to their earlier models which were re-badged Logans. It is a very finely crafted machine with a generous sound that fits on the stage as a backing instrument or in a mix. The size of the keyboard is liberating. Fantastic instrument with a unique sound that will not displease. The manual / schematics are still freely available from Hohner too! Whomever winds up with this beauty is a lucky ducky.
