Yeah, that's a very, very sad and unforgettable moment.  

One of the best, and most emotive movies ever committed to film.  Not to
mention one of the most aesthetically awe inspiring ones.  Ridley Scott
(Alien, Blade Runner, etc.) was one hell of a director at one time...
hopefully he'll regain his old form soon?  "G.I. Jane" just doesn't cut it.
