If you want to read about the Boston musician who did the "Synchronicity" music for the VW Jetta and how he came to be picked to do it, the Boston Globe did an article on him on the front page of today's business section. You can read it online at: http://www.boston.com:80/dailyglobe2/085/business/For_local_musician_it_just_came_together+.shtml This paragraph stood out from the article, though: "Arnold [the ad agency] toyed with using songs by Autechre and Boards of Canada, but took a pass on both for artistic... reasons." So there you go. The funniest thing, I think, is the name-dropping, without any context of who those artists are, like everybody knows them. -- Adam J Weitzman NewsEdge Corporation sleepy people | network down http://www.newsedge.com http://www.newspage.com
