a few... source direct (astralwerks): solid, yes. interesting, barely. m-tec (pitchcadet): yum...melodic stuff harkening back to the good old days, with some good intricate style programming. accelera-deck (pitchcadet): this one is all over the place musically, but it remains throughout very interesting. everything from quasi break beat stuff to weird experimental idm stuff. definetely a winner. jega - spectrum (matador) cos of all the negative press on this one, i never dropped the money to get it. finaly got a promo from matador, and i'm glad i didn't spend any money on it. just sounds like he put a lot more time into the skam 12"s than he did this lp. so sad. solenoid/metatron split (omco) solenoid=good. metatron=fun. solenoid's ultra crunchy stuff mixes strangely with metatron's more cheesy electro stuff, but definetely worth the listen. that's all...more soon. .. brian rachielles audio/kcsb 91.9 fm santa barbara http://www.rain.org/~audio
