i got the new Solvent album "solvently one listens" today and i godda say it's the shit. i know the Suction label boys don't like to refer to thier music as electro, but listening to "black turtleneck" i was thinking how this track it the pinnacle of almost two decades of electro "developement". (i know this doesn't make complete sense, since electro hasn't really gone anywhere in all this time). and the rhythm programming on the track takes all the knowledge of electro breaks and condenses it into the perfect beat. i also purchased Bad Street Boy's "Bad Power" and was pleasently surprized. i expected some tedious acid electro sounds but instead found some funk-ass (non-acid) electro sounds worthy of being blasted from my car. anyone know if it's true that badstreetboy is an alias of Panacea's? tomas
