Pretty clever, I thought. Ah yes, I remember that... I had to run it through someone else's stereo. Supposedly if you pointed the speakers at a certain angle in stereo, they would also cancel each other out. I remember being so excited to finallyhear that song and taping it... lost the tape two cars ago. *sigh* As for Course of Empire, they soldiered on for a while and then broke up. A shame, too, they were a local band that did intelligent metal. Great live performances, too... but I saw them post-_Initiation_. Apparently before then they used to hand out drums to people in the audience and weird stuff like that. I've actually though one of the songs on their latest album, _Telepathic Last Words_ would be great for sampling. Can't rememer the name off the top of my head. "Blue Moon"? Not IDM at all. But that doesn't mean it's bad. NP: that Steve Satori demo CD-R everyone else has been raving about. :)
