I think it is a fake. Here's why.

-The mix sounds bad. There's something lacking, like some reverb or EQ.
-The voice sample is suspicious. It's definitively not the kind of sample he
usually uses, and it doesn't bring anything to the track, unlike his usual
sample.
-The beat sounds too much like his Hangable Auto Bulb era. I think you can
hear an evolution from HAB (mettallic crazy chaotic beats) to RDJ album
(metallic crazy beats somewhat more organized) to CTD (typical techno
percussions and samples from real drums crazily sequenced). Whenever Aphex
moves on, he doesn't usually come back.

I could be wrong of course. Maybe he's parodying some of the cheap jingles
you can hear on kid TV. But I certainly hope not.

I really enjoy his drill'n'bass stuff (HAB, RDJ, CTD) and I hold no grudge
against them, but I think it would be a good time for him to do something
in another style. It seems to me like everybody is doing it the jungle way
nowadays, and it has been so for more then a year now, it's not like it is
original or fresh anymore. Frankly, I get more of a kick listening to Puff
Daddy beats then those on essex. I wouldn't mind if he wouldn't feel like
breaking the barrier of insanity with every track and go back to making
simple great music with normal beats, like "The beauty of being numb". I'd
enjoy a whole album like this, but maybe not everybody and the kids...

Of course it is a little unfair to expect him to completely reinvent the
whole genre on every release, so even if essex is aphex's work... well there
will still be 7 other tracks on the EP.
