Then allow me to post about a couple of house records that I think are
fantastic:

Mike Grant - "It's a Detroit Thing" (Moods & Grooves)

"Hypnotize" didn't exactly; while a well-built track, I didn't care for
the vocal bits and just didn't feel the overall vibe. But the B2
"Sunlight" - hold on, now that's it! "Deep" barely does justice to the
amount of bass on this record; it's a living breathing organism! The
perfectly filtered pads and synth lead accent the moody, pushing feel of
this killer. Buy it for this track!

Theo Parrish - "Dance Of the Drunken Drums" (Sound Signature)

The hi-hat rolls on one side of this house record make me think of
drum-n-bass; the sequenced piano on the other makes me think of As One. Dope.

These two might be hard to find; try http://www.recordtime.com.

Herbert - "Around The House" (Phonography)

It's around a year old now, but still totally worth tracking down. There's
also a new 12" on Phonography with a remix from the album, plus another track
or two (haven't purchased it yet). This one's available on CD, for all those
who don't do vinyl.
