I agree. I thought the Shields remix would have done a lot more damage
if it were extended. Just as things stop building and start flying,
the song ends. What a pisser! However, the cover of J&MC's "Darklands"
is the true gem on this disc IMHO.
As for Kevin Shields and the future of My Bloody Valentine, it seems
Kevin is *really* following the footsteps of Brian Wilson circa 1967
right about now. (except multiply time by 7) The next original Shields
material we'll hear will be bootlegged scraps of brilliance, instead of
something as a whole.
