HiYa Everyone!

I'm seeking a variety of mixed (and unmixed) tapes for several purposes -

1- Some of you know that Rob & I are expecting a baby boy in July. I would
like some tapes to take with me for the labor, to keep my mind occupied and
focused. For this purpose, I would like anything in the realms of Ambient,
Experimental, Trance, House, even some harder stuff like Techno and Acid to
keep my energy up! These tapes can be mixed or unmixed. It would be a real
nice thing, and I Really would appreciate it!!!!!!! I'd also like to use
some of the sweeter tapes in the baby's nursery - I really beleive in the
power of music and it's positive effects on the growing mind. In addition
to my evil purpose for these tapes (heh heh), we would like to feature a
presentation of some of these tapes on the Technotica.com website. We were
thinking of calling this section 'Tunes for Tots'.

2- I can use some of the tapes on my radio show. Please mark the tape if
you would like it used for this purpose. Remember, radio in the USA in
controlled somewhat by the FCC, which bans the '7 dirty words.' If you need
to know what they are, well, remember that old George Carlin comedy
routine? :-)

3- I would also like to start adding some tape reviews from all over the
world to my e-zine, 'The Technotic Times'. Copies of the zine are on my
website, http://www.technotica.com Right now, there are just tons of
record reviews (which you could also contribute!), and tape reviews would
be a nice addition! Please let me know if you would like your tape
considered for review!

Ok, well, not so strange a request afterall I guess ;-)
Remember, Your tape doesn't need to be 'Professional quality' for me to use
for my personal reasons, I'm just looking for some good tunes in a
pleasently arranged format for that. So, make sure that you let me know if
you want the tape considered for radio play and/or review, ok? Ok!

Thanks for reading this, and super-duper-thanks to all y'all who contribute
to the cause! Here's the address to send them to:

Linda Leigh, Box 1383, Newtown, Pa 18940, USA

PS....I will also be looking for artists to contribute tracks to a CD
compilation I am working on for distribution by a cool independant label.
They have good marketing people and believe there's a lot of talent out
there that needs to be heard. Please contact me for more details on this if
you are interested!
