Most Mac midi breakouts aren't compatible with PC ones, so don't count on using the one you have already. If you're planning to use it for sample editing, make sure you get a scsi port (for interfacing with scsi samplers). It's possible to get by just with midi, but transferring samples via midi (sds) is *slow*. bbn
