On the cheap side, old pillow stuffing works great. I've also removed a weird resonant frequency in a pair of DIY speakers by gluing some free carpet remnants (lived across from a carpet store) on the inside wall opposite the drivers. Is this resonant problem you're hearing a vibration issue, or just a spikey-loud note? To studio-ize a set of speakers on the cheap, I'd: - remove the drivers - add free carpet remnants to inside back and sides - add pillow stuffing inside to taste. - check that the crossover is mounted securely inside with no loose parts (and I'd hot-snot anything that is loose) - replace drivers using gasket material ( https://www.parts-express.com/parts-express-speaker-gasketing-tape-1-8-x-3-8-x-50-ft-roll--260-540 ) and tighten properly. - remove the back plate, reattach with the gasket material. - make sure nothing else is loose - port, etc. Mike
