I normally try isopropyl alcohol first, and if that fails, I try baby oil, which you have to rub into the sticker and let sit for a while, but has removed some stickers that I couldn't remove otherwise. Also good for stickers on those items which alcohol may affect the finish (like a Poly 800.) Of course you then have to clean up the baby oil with some mild cleaner like soap and water or diluted Simple Green.
