Hi I thought list members might be interested in the following. I hope nobody regards this as spam - if so, let me know and I won't do it again. Cheers! *Nonlinear - 'Angles' / 'Against the Funk' 7" Available Now* Released under the nom de guerre Nonlinear, 'Angles' / 'Against the Funk' is the premier vinyl release from 23-year old producer Gareth Metford, previously known on the underground experimental electronics scene as Plasm, Swell/Fade, Degrading the Image and Lapse (among other aliases). Featuring two tracks of minimal, abstracted beats, the single also marks the debut of the Nonlinear label - a new imprint dedicated to leftfield electronic music. Initially available in a pressing of 250 copies on heavyweight, 70gsm vinyl, any quantity of 'Angles' / 'Against the Funk' can be ordered directly from Nonlinear for 3.50 UKP per copy (including postage and packing) or the equivalent in overseas currency. Planned future releases from Nonlinear include a split 7" between Gareth and up-and-coming new school breakbeat producer Graham Booth, and an album-length CD-R containing all the tracks from the aborted 'Batch Loader E.P.' as well as several new pieces. Both of these releases should become available within the next few months.
