At last! Someone else has mentioned Pentatonik!!!
I cannot recommend Anthology enough. 2 CDs worth (they are about 70 mins
each) of the most illustrious ambient / techno out there. If you like
gorgeous sounds, intricate programming and just plain enjoyable music
you will love this.
Simon Bowring, for that is his name, has produced some of my favourite
tracks over the years. There are two 12"s released on Kudos (can't for
the life of me remember their names, something "series" i think) and the
Credo single as well as Anthology. He remixed HIA as well but apart from
that the output was limited. Anyone else know of other releases?
Now he records as one half of A1 people as Kelly rightly said. Super
funky electro is the order of the day. 150% is awesome (thanks David)
But give me that keyboard sound from "Like This" and "Credo" anyday -
absolutely gorgeous.
There was a track from Anthology on TEE no 2 or 3 as well.
I would suggest that 15 UKP (or $24 roughly) for this double CD is well
worth it, you won't regret I can promise you.

graham
ps - my name is not Simon Bowring by the way.....
