One Mark Bell was half of LFO with Gez Varley, did stuff with Wildplanet, has recorded for many labels including Planet E and others. The other Mark Bell operates the Shaboom label, does a lot of work with Doc Martin, records as Blakkat, etc. In simplest terms, the former-LFOer Mark Bell is working more in techno territory, whereas the Shaboom/Doc Martin- related Mark Bell is working more in house territory. It is certainly confusing when both are in the UK, sorta how Dave Clarke (the DJ/musician who did the classic "Red" series) and Dave Clarke (who helps run Soma records) both live/work in the UK.
