The Equations CD is worth checking out - jazzy downtempo & drum&bass. Not
bukemish jazz-lite, but jazzy like Cujo. In fact, it's the only stuff I've
heard that comes close to Cujo/Tobin in terms of reinterpreting jazz with
some musical chops. I could do without the vocal track (or is it tracks?).

Oddly enough, I lent this to a woman in the office (late 40's?), and she
really enjoyed it, wanted to know where to buy it. Maybe it wasn't that
strange, she said she was a Zappa fan.

There's also a nice remix of Tek 9's "Is It On".

I would like to hear more, but don't like it enough to go into
trainspotting mode to track some of this stuff down. I've got my hands
full as it is. :)
