My first tape was Man Parrish's "Hip Hop Be Bop Don't Stop" LP. First record was "Streetsounds Electro vol. 3". First CD was a detroit techno compilation. Ain't got a minidisc player yet... Nor a wax cylinder player... And I haven't grown out of this fad, as some people snidely commented at the time!
