I deleted the original message from Tony & can't seem to get the archive working.. What was the original comment about issues with the 2SC2878? [Also - thanks for your page about MN3007/9s Florian - I might try the replacement mentioned by Murray of KiwiTech] There seems to be lots of commentary on the net about noisy BBDs but no mention of failing transistors.
