<this is a question i am sending around to a few lists. i am thinking of putting some serious effort into a weekly club, and would like some feedback. please do not reply to the IDM list unless somehow you really feel like its something everyone should see.. thanks!> if there was a weekly that focussed on a variety of styles and scenes, would anyone on this side of the fence care? i have ALWAYS seen flyers that say stuff like: "djs spinning the best of house, industrial, hip hop, techno and 80s" or some shit like that.. but it never really seems to work out in such a way. would anyone go to a weekly that literally crossed over and between genres such as: techno, idm, house, jungle, industrual, goth, new wave, hip hop, electro, hardcore, funk, jazz... but all stuff that is somehow aimed at dance music? you get the idea :) so, like a club that might have a dj spinning funk/groove/hip hop, another spinning trance, and then someone like babyland playing live... input, positive and *Especially* negative is appreciated. chris.
