well, yes and no.  the same sense of strange melody is there in the AOW
stuff that i have, but it's more drill and bassish and in your face for the
most part.  the thrill jockey is much more reduced and chill.   if you don't
mind the conceits of drill and bass (which i don't, and i think AOW does it
really well in the first place) then you might check it out. actually,
having heard both is what's making me so excited about the new lp, because
he's gone new and interesting places that the first doesn't totally reflect.
