Hi, I just picked up an excellent 3" CD on Metamkine records by Christine Groult. It's excellent academic Concrete style stuff, very drony and minimal. When i was aon holiday in Berlin i saw the whole label back catalogue in a shop (i can only recall Jim O'Rourke artist-wise though) and really regret not getting them then - so can anyone fill me in on what the other stuff on the label sounds like, or give me some background to it, or give me a clue where to actually get it? On a tangential note, what are Zoviet*France up to just now? I saw the play live in Edinburgh last year so presumably they're still doing things, but the most recent recorded material I can find are the Digilogue and In Version CD's. Have they had more stuff out? What? Where can I get it? Sorry for all the questions! -- ________________________________________________________ "My taste runs more to petite little things who sneer a lot and wear make-up stained Prada, and whose idea of an exercise regime is to scrape a blade across a mirror and pour another tequila..."
